Like a beautiful filigree brooch is Skåbu situated in the middle of southern Norway, surrounded by hospitable mountains and old picturesque country courtyard and green hills.
It is said, but of course not proved, that Skåbu has got its name from old Norse hunting goddess SKADIR. Hunting, catching and fishing is also today an important part of our daily life, as it was hundreds years ago. We also hope that this is exiting for all our visitors.
